Here’s a little something to ward off the Snowpocalypse chill: Think about what you’ll be doing in August. On Sunday, Aug. 24, to be exact.

dig in

Well, you could be volunteering for Dig-IN, the local food fest in White River State Park.  The good folks at Dig-IN are lining up volunteers now and will be meeting regularly with working groups to help plan the event. In addition to looking for two volunteer coordinators, Dig-IN executive director Rob Gaston is recruiting folks to work on the following volunteer committees:

  • Front gate operations
  • Education
  • VIP Experience
  • Greening
  • Entertainment

Some committees will require more meetings than others, but just about all will be meeting at least monthly and then more often as the festival approaches. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact info@digindiana.org.
