The best $2.50 you’ll spend on dessert

I’m not really a sweets fan, but I’m still thinking about the new Cloud Nine crepe cake from 3 Days in Paris that I tried today at the Indianapolis City Market. I ordered a crepe for lunch (the $6.50 Harvest crepe with ham, apples, cranberies, gouda and chipotle raspberry sauce, which was excellent), but then I notice the Cloud Nine cake there on the counter.

I’d seen 3 Days in Paris posting online about the new treat, so I’d been wanting to try it, and I’m glad I did. Twenty layers of crepes filled with lemon cream and topped with lemon curd — this is  seriously good, and  a bargain at $2.50 a slice.

Got a party coming up? You can get a whole cake for $30 (I’m thinking this would be terrific for Easter). The website says the flavors will change with the seasons; can’t wait to see what other varieties will be available.
