Chip Ganassi Racing team chef Rafael Mendoza will open George’s Mexican Taco’s in Broad Ripple.

Chip Ganassi Racing chef Rafael Mendoza will be opening a taco shop in Broad Ripple.

To be called George’s Mexican Taco’s, the new restaurant will be located at 801 Broad Ripple Ave. in the former Za Pizzeria spot.

Mendoza, who specializes in seafood and gourmet fare when cooking for Ganassi, said  the new place should be open in a couple weeks. — Jolene Ketzenberger
