I mentioned earlier this spring here on EatDrinkIndy that Cleveland’s “Iron Chef” Michael Symon was scouting Indianapolis restaurant locations. According to a Cleveland business publication, Symon will indeed be bringing his B Spot burger restaurant to Indianapolis.
“The company has been busy expanding its popular B Spot burger joints,” reported Crain’s Cleveland Business this week, “adding to its portfolio locations in Rochester Hills, Mich., Columbus, Detroit and Indianapolis, which will bring to nine the total number of B Spots that will be open by year’s end.”
Symon just opened a B Spot location in Detroit and was in town for the May 24 opening. I’m hearing that the Iron Chef will locate his Indianapolis B Spot, appropriately enough, in the new Ironworks at Keystone development at Keystone Avenue and 86th Street near the new location of Ruth’s Chris Steak House (which, by the way, might also be the new home of Sangiovese Ristorante, once it moves from its Rivers Edge location).
B Spot burger prices range from $6.99 to $9.99. The menu also offers sandwiches, salads, sides and shakes. — Jolene Ketzenberger
