Louie’s Wine Dive to open in Broad Ripple

The long-empty building at the corner of College and Broad Ripple avenues will finally have a new restaurant tenant. Louie’s Wine Dive should open there by the end of September. It will be the eighth location of the Kansas City, Mo.-based chain; the Mass Ave location opened in 2015.  

The prime spot at 701 Broad Ripple Ave. has been empty since Barley Island Brewing Company closed its Broad Ripple location five years ago. Scholar’s Inn operated in the space before Barley Island opened there in 2009. — Jolene Ketzenberger
