Several Indianapolis chefs have made the semifinalist list in the 2014 James Beard Foundation restaurant and chef awards.
Bloomington chef David Tallent of Restaurant Tallent has made the semifinalist list for the eighth consecutive year.Regina Mahallick, chef/owner at R bistro in Indianapolis is a semifnalist for the fifth consecutive year. Greg Hardesty has made the semifinalist list for the third year in a row; Neal Brown for the second.
The founders of Three Floyds Brewing Co. in Munster also gained a semifinalist nod for the second year in the national category of Outstanding Wine, Spirits & Beer Professional.
