Indianapolis farmers’ markets

Mar 28th, 2014 | by Eat Drink Indy | Farmers’ markets

Whether downtown on Wednesdays or in Broad Ripple, Carmel or one of many other locations on Saturdays, shopping at farmers’ markets has become the way to get better acquainted with where your food comes from. Indiana ranks among the top five states in the country in terms of growth of farmers’ markets, and Indianapolis has seen the number of its markets jump in the past few years. Most summer markets run from May or June through October; a few operate into November. Indianapolis also has several winter markets as well.
