I love the Woodruff Place Flea Market. I’ve found some great stuff there over the years: furniture, books, a cool lamp and a kitchen stool with fold-out steps that we used literally until it fell apart. One year, we had our eye on a gumball machine, but weren’t willing to pay the asking price for a machine that needed work, (although we did make an offer).

But I’m always on the lookout for cool kitchen stuff. Last year, I brought home a particularly good haul, including an excellent waiter’s corkscrew, a gadget that certainly gets a workout at our house.
