Broad Ripple taco shop to close

Nov 9th, 2017 | by Eat Drink Indy | News, Restaurants

Better get your sweet potato fries and your tilapia tacos while you can. La Chinita Poblana owner George Munoz said that the tiny Broad Ripple taco shop with the Asian fusion menu will close Nov. 18.

But he was quick to add that “it’s not the doom and gloom of the restaurant business.”

Rather, he said, an opportunity has come along for a new project. “It’s something I can’t pass up.”

Stay tuned for more info on the new biz, but for all the La Chinita fans, don’t despair. “It’s a concept I want to come back to,” Munoz said.

Plus, he said on La Chinita’s Facebook page, he hopes to continue serving the tacos at festivals and farmers’ markets next year as a catering arm of his new project.
